Daily Photo – The Sunset in San Clemente California
We had a great photowalk down in San Clemente! Thanks again to everyone that came along… I enjoyed it very much. Now I am finally getting a chance to post-process some of the images. If you were there, you may remember when I took this one!
The sunset was just as good as you can get, which was very lucky after many days of rain before. We were all quite worried about a rain-out! But, the gods shined on us and everything turned out great. It’s always nice to walk around with other photographers and geek out on this stuff!
The sky got a bit noisy for me in this one. I used Noiseware to get rid of it – for more info, see my Noiseware Review here on the site.

Zeit und Bewegung gehören zusammen. Wo sich nichts wandelt steht die Zeit still. Dieses Bild ist statisch und die Zeit, die auf der Uhr angezeigt wird, bleibt stets die gleiche.
Das ist die Botschaft: Kein Wandel – keine Zeit.
Tiefe Meditation verlangsamt alle Aktivitäten des Geistes und die Erfahrung des Stillstandes oder der Einheit kann gemacht werden. Das Ego-Bewusstsein erfährt eine Entgrenzung.
Zeit begrenzt. Zeitlosigkeit ist grenzenlos. Zeitlosigkeit und Ewigkeit gehören für mich zusammen. In der Ewigkeit vergeht keine Zeit. Ewigkeit ist für mich ein Zustand des Bewusstseins. Zeit ist ein Zustand des Bewusstseins.
Beschleunigt das Bewusstsein seine Aktivitäten, und die erscheinenden Dinge wechseln sehr schnell, ist die Verbundenheit des Geistes mit dem Zeitgott Aion sehr stark.
Die Zeit wurde schon immer als Gottheit bezeichnet, mithin als eine metaphysische Kraft gesehen, die im menschlichen Geist Phänomene hervorruft. Wie etwa die Gottheit Amor einen Menschen verliebt machen kann, so verändert der Zeitgott Aion im Menschen das Zeitempfinden. Viele Menschen haben mit zunehmendem Alter das Gefühl, die Zeit vergehe schneller. Es ist eben Aion, der dieses subjektive Empfinden auslöst.

That was a great photo walk. There was no fewer than 40 people who showed up to stroll with Trey and get a first-hand look at how he sets up. He shared his camera settings, thoughts on composition, and even let us look through his new Nikon D3S. The sunset was epic. Afterwards we hung out, ate pizza, and got to know each other. Totally cool group of photog peeps. I walked back to my car with Enless Vacation (Charlie) and we saw a huge fireball/meteor break up and streak across the sky. It was nice finale to a fun and informative afternoon.
